DSCC Australia placed this billboard at Canberra airport with the aim of getting public and political support for Australia to take a strong position in the United Nations in 2006 to protect deep sea life by agreeing to a global moratorium on the destructive fishing practice of bottom trawling on the high seas. It was visible to all Federal politicians and their advisers using the airport during the sitting weeks of June 2006. Find out more
