Elizabeth Wilson

Elizabeth Wilson directs The Pew Charitable Trusts’ international ocean policy team, where she leads Pew’s engagement in international forums such as the United Nations, regional fisheries management organizations, and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. She works with Pew’s international oceans campaigns to conserve deep-sea life, improve management of sharks and tunas, establish large-scale marine reserves, and combat illegal fishing. With a background in biology and marine policy, she has worked with both scientists and policy-makers from around the world to improve ocean conservation.
